Know Jesus

1. The Problem | Romans 3:10-12, 23 - All have sinned and are guilty of falling short of God's glory. No one is acceptable to Him, no one understands Him, all have turned away and rejected Him.

II. The Solution is the Gospel | 1 Cor. 15: 1-5 "Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel... that Christ died for sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,"

III. Trust in Christ | Romans 10:9-10, "if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

Next Steps

The first step of being reconciled to God is confession of your sin and asking God to forgive you based on the finished work of Christ on the cross. The next step is repentance - this means to change direction or to turn away from your previous lifestyle of sin.
We are here to help. God has given His church gifts to help build one another up until they have matured into what Christ has called us all to be, and friend, this takes a lifetime. We need each other!

Here at Bogue Falaya Baptist Church we provide Connect Groups for all ages every Sunday morning at 9:15 to help people get plugged in. We also provide other ministry and fellowship opportunities throughout the year. Join us!
